The Mosque Haji Ali Dargah is located on a small island in the Arabian Sea, in Mumbai. The pathway leading to it gets submerged during high tide, making it accessible only during low tide periods. The Haji Ali Dargah was constructed in 1431 in memory of a wealthy Muslim merchant, who gave up all his worldly possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca.
