Djibouti

Lying on the Gulf of Tadjoura, it is home to a population of around 45,000 inhabitants. It is the third largest city in the country.

Unemployment is extremely high in Tadjourah. It is 9 in the morning as we drove to town.

Tremendous poverty
Unemployment runs around 54%. You can see it on the streets. Men, boys, teenagers nothing to do.
Djibouti produces virtually nothing, relying instead on its port, which neighboring Ethiopia uses for its own imports and exports
